Author: Katherine Applegate

Summary: This book is about an otter named Odder, who lives by a beach. She is injured by a storm and the people who work at an aquarium, rescue her. Then 3 years later, she and her best otter friend, get injured by a great white shark. She again gets rescued, but it damages her confidence. The ending is bittersweet.

Review: This book was a little sad, but it was also interesting to read because it is written in verse. I also like this book because it's feels so real, like it could actually happen. I recommend this book for people 10 and up who like animals.
