Summary: It’s the year 2061, and Halley's comet is about to hit Earth and destroy it completely. Petra and her family are one of the few people chosen to continue the human race on Sagan, another planet. They will be frozen in stasis, so they don’t age on the 300 some years. But the Collective, a sinister group of people onboard, have decided to erase everyone's memories of Earth. Petra is the only one who still remembers. Can she save her friends on the ship, and help them remember Earth?

Review: I liked this book for many reasons. First, this book is set in the future. But the things they have in the future make sense and aren’t crazy. That makes it so realistic that you would think that is going to happen. Also, some parts are suspenseful and are interesting to read. They keep you on the edge of your seat and want to keep reading. This book is also sad in some parts, about losing family and friends. But it gets hopeful like when the main characters escape the ship, and overcome their sadness for their family by talking to each other. The ending is bittersweet and feels hopeful. The ending was also satisfying but left me wanting more. I also loved this book, because of the stories that the author put in. The main character, Petra, loves to tell ancient stories from her culture, and she tells them to her friends. Those stories are exciting and are rich in detail. This book also has some “flashbacks” in it, where Petra remembers the things she used to do on Earth with her parents. I recommend this book for people 10 and over. Some of the content is sad and is not for little kids. There are also some mature topics in it.
