Author: Mark Twain

Summary: Tom Sawyer is a kid who lives in the southern U.S. Everyday he hangs out with his friend, Huckleberry Finn. Things take a more serious turn when he witnesses a murder in a grave yards, and when he finds gold in a cave that the murderers want.

Review: This book is funny and makes me want to be there. The adventures are cleverly written and the characters are extremely well developed. Mark Twain's Southern accent writing truly makes me feel like it’s real. Some parts are nerve-racking, and there is some mature content, so I recommend this book for ages 12 and up.
